Our Cellar

We like Champagne. For reds we lean Burgundian: Pinot Noir from France and from New Zealand, the mineral, high-acid kind rather than anything fruit-forward. Whites should be tart and mineral too: New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, Sancerre and Chablis. Beyond that we chase savory, earthy reds over big and jammy ones: Rioja and Ribera del Duero from Spain, the Douro and Dão from Portugal, Chianti Classico, Barbera and Etna Rosso from Italy, and whatever else drinks that way.
